Confidence and Security

Our ‘Regulated by RICS’ status shows that we practice to globally recognised ethical and professional standards.

We are bound by Rules of Conduct which set out how we help to protect the public and uphold the reputation of the environmental consulting and surveying professions.

You can be assured of the highest level of expertise and integrity in our dealings with you and in the quality of the insight and guidance we provide you. This ensures you have the confidence to make the right decisions for yourself and your client.

Our code of conduct ensures that we:

  • Practice to globally recognised standards
  • Behave ethically and act with integrity and honesty
  • Have the required skills and competencies to do the job
  • Manage conflicts of interests transparently
  • Safeguard the security of client money
  • Manage our finances appropriately
  • Provide adequate and appropriate indemnity for your work
  • Handle complaints and disputes fairly

We apply these standards rigorously throughout the firm in a wide variety of ways:

  • how we engage with you as a client
  • how we apply our thinking to our data to deliver valuable and meaningful insight to make decisions
  • how we apply our expertise to provide expert opinion on environmental risks for your clients

In addition, we are an early adopter of the new RICS “Value the Planet” Campaign, which aims to promote the preservation of the planet through the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will be integrating these across all aspects of our business to make sustainability part of our compliance culture. Here is our news piece about the recent launch.

These standards are in addition to our executive membership of COPSO and The Search Code, which provides accurate and high quality property-related information at the right time and in the most appropriate form, with a high degree of consumer protection.
