Commercial Seminar: Meet our Expert Speakers



With less than 24 hours to go until we open the doors to our free London seminar on ‘Environmental & Transactional Risk in Commercial Development’, we’d like to introduce you to our four speakers who will be joining us on Tuesday 5th June.



Robin Wells

Robin Wells - Head of Sales & Marketing at Future Climate Info

Robin has worked within the property and legal services profession for the last 20 years. Throughout his time, he has been heavily involved in all aspects of property transactions, from property valuations to lender panel management and search provision. Robin now heads up our experienced sales and marketing team for Future Climate Info.


Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones – Flood Risk Director at Ashfield Solutions

Aaron has developed an intrinsic knowledge of flood risk through a career spent working on every aspect of this ever-evolving subject. His experience covers the production of flood risk models, as well as the design and implementation of flood protection for critical infrastructure. Aaron now leads a new way of thinking, based on his understanding of risk, whereby the correct interpretation of data can greatly aid in adding value to a clients’ asset or development aspirations.


Chris Hewitt – Development Director at CLS

Chris has 30 years’ underwriting and broking experience in the financial lines area. More specifically, Chris has had 10 years’ experience in the transactional (Warranty and Indemnity) liability. He has had a broad experience of market coverages for transactional liability risks on the complete spectrum of small and large transactions, covering both traditional and complex transactions. He has been instrumental in the development of product innovation which have subsequently become market standard products.


Trevor Hellawell - Owner of ExL Practice Development

Trevor is a solicitor who has spent the bulk of his career as a legal training and management consultant. Throughout his career, Trevor has lectured extensively on environmental law and compliance, Professional Conduct, Financial services matters including Money Laundering and mainstream academic law subjects. Trevor was formerly a member of the Law Society’s Planning and Environmental Law Committee and is the author of the Environmental Law Handbook, now in its seventh edition.
